Good experience. The bus...
Good experience. The bus picks you up from your accommodation and then it is a 2 hour trip to Halong Bay with a couple of rest stops. Our guide was really nice. Did this end of December so slightly cool on the bay. The boat was nice, everyone was seated. Staff on board was very nice. Nothing luxurious about the boat, you can see the wear and tear. For us Halong was a complete disaster waste of time. There was not much to do except a little bit of kayaking, swimming and cooking class. You can give this a miss without any regrets.

What an amazing afternoon...
What an amazing afternoon on the water. Viktor and the staff of the boat were all first class. The meal was to die for the service was impeccable. The kayaking was a lot of fun and the water slides...woohoo!!! Viktor was super kind to film the experience and share it with us. Spend the money and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience. Well worth the upgrade
We paid a little more for a private transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. The boat had 60 people or so and plenty of room to sit and lounge while we sailed through Ha Long Bay. We really enjoyed the Kayak trip, but it was a little too cold for swimming this time. Love the scenery and the ability to cat the sunset. Super easy pick up and drop off. I think with a little more money we bought a very relaxed atmosphere and experience. Totally worth the upgrade

Great experience! Pick up and drop off in Hanoi in a comfortable bus. Everything ran on time, food was good and the catamaran was spacious. Activities to take part in, or the option to just relax on the deck and enjoy the sights (they are stunning!) Good option for a one-day tour of Ha Long Bay.

Fun in Ha Long Bay!
Viktor is a great guide, very attentive. The boat is beautiful and the lunch was amazing!! The atmosphere was very relaxed.
