Halong bay 2-day cruise
The cruise was great! Met some really fun and friendly people both guests and staff on the boat.
The staff are really friendly and kept us entertained with the natural beauty of Halong bay as well as other activities such as kayaking, sightseeing caves and beach, foot bath and Karaoke.

Great for ha long bay sights, only one night on boat, not quite luxury throughout
The cruise was so great, this was the best part. Please note it is only 1 night on the boat, with only an afternoon/evening (arrive at 1330) and 2 hours the following morning on the boat to enjoy. This is after an 0600 wake-up to get on tour bus.

Excellent tour!
Excellent tour! Our guide (Son) was really good, and we learned a lot. Also learned about making coconut candy, had a delicious meal while listening to traditional music, held a python and had a rowboat ride. It was a great day!

Getting on and off boats...
Getting on and off boats is tricky for people with mobility issues. Final pagoda bus stopped guide pointed it out and asked if anyone interested in going to see. She didn’t explain it was the final stop of the day, impression was it was an ‘add on’.

Best tour of Hanoi

Hanoi half day tour
Having a private guide made this tour so much more interesting. Long was very knowledgable and answered all our questions he looked after us really well. Make sure you visit train street when a train is due it is totally mad no health and safety here

WOW - Train Street - what...
WOW - Train Street - what an experience. Do not miss this when in Hanoi. LAN, our guide, was a very bubbly young lady who made the tour fun whilst sharing her knowledge. Really enjoyed the tour. Did not realise that to view Mr Ho Chi Minh’s remains I should have chosen an early start to this tour - never mind due to Lan’s enthusiasm we got up early the next morning, went back to the Mausoleum and queued to do just that and were so vey glad we did this. It was very moving even if you only see him for a very few minutes as you walk through.
