Had a great time. Our guide did not make us try anything we did not want, but instead tried to help us understand the food and why we should try it. 10/10 would do again.

We had a really top notch gastronomic tour with Kevin who is engaging, very funny, warm, and as a former chef, he knows his craft very well. We loved that this tour took us to a wide range of venues from street food stalls to Michelin star restaurants. We also experienced foods that went well beyond pho and banh mi dishes that are typically featured in Vietnamese food tours. We had so many different dishes to experiences in a such a diverse range of settings and Kevin did an excellent job of explaining each dish and its history and context while answering our many questions. He made us feel so comfortable and we enjoyed spending the afternoon with him and we so much appreciate all that we learned and the deliciousness of the foods we experienced. We highly recommend Kevin as a guide and this tour specifically, which hit all the right notes for us.

What a great foodie experience we enjoyed with Kevin in Hanoi . We ate a variety of street foods , wandered the markets , enjoyed food at two Michelin food venues & were fit to burst at the end of the evening but Kevin had another plans & took us to an amazing cocktail bar with an extensive menu Kevin is very humorous, warm hearted & knowledgeable about food - he is a chef . He genuinely cares about delivering a quality experience to those on his tour . Kevin engaged with us at all levels , he flexed the tour to accommodate our curiosity about trying specific foods but also ticked off the “insta moments “ like the train street “ . Nothing is too much trouble & Kevin shared so much about his culture and demonstrated the warm hearted & welcoming nature of Vietnamese people . We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone , a five star experience that won’t disappoint …… oh & did I mention that Kevin seamlessly catered to my needs as a vegetarian as well as my partner who is a committed carnivore x Do this tour , you won’t regret it .

Must do food tour when in Hanoi! Kevin will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a tour through the Old Quarter and French Quarter of the city on foot and via an Uber equivalent when necessary. Kevin blends a deep love of his city, its cuisine, and humor through the tour to curate a foodie experience that’s difficult to beat and endlessly fun. He has his hotspots and must try dishes, but will also customize the experience for his guests’ tastes and preferences, always looking for a way to optimize the guest experience. We tried everything from street food to Michelin guide dishes with some adventures in between. My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend this tour to fellow travelers to Hanoi.

I booked Kevin for a personal foodie tour of Hanoi and it was THE BEST experience! He was so knowledgeable of the foods, I learned so much about Vietnamese food and customs walking with him. His energy and enthusiasm are boundless and he could have just kept going and showing us more and more! He was so kind to let us stop and shop for some souvenirs and spoke with the vendors to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He took us to the best place, cafe Giang, for an original Egg Coffee which has now become an obsession for me!! DO NOT HESITATE to book a tour with Kevin....it will be the most fun and informative 4 hours you will spend in Hanoi!
